This image keeps popping up as one of my desktop photos. It’s from my trip last year to Antarctica. It’s taken with a 16mm fisheye lens which almost goes 180 degrees, which is why it looks a little distorted. It takes so much of the scene in that every time it comes up, it makes me smile. So I thought I’d share it again.
The idea is to not only be adding new content to the site but also go back and publish images I may have forgotten about. One’s that make me smile. There’s more to come!

It just takes you in and leaves you in a place of lonely vastness. Nice job capturing the essence.
