I’ve been going up to Canada from about 15 years, canoeing in Quetico and always looking for moose.  I think in all those years I’ve seen one and that was from quite a ways away.

My trip to Algonquin this past week was barely 3 hours old when we happened upon this young moose munching on some grass along the side of the road.

It seems all the moose were in eastern Ontario instead of western all these years.  Next morning we came upon two more but the notion of three cars of photographers pulling up all at once put them off a bit and they made their way into the woods before you could say….Moose!!

Maybe it was your colon, or you might unknowingly be the moose whisperer. I salute you my friend!
