After a gondola ride then chairlift, you find yourself at the top of Whistler mountain, about 7100 feet. From there, the High Note trail will take you on a hike of about 6.5 miles that circles around the backside of the mountain and ends at the top of the gondola.
It’s a varied trail from rocky and desolate looking at the top to meadow like with tons of wildflowers amongst the rocks and trees.
Mid point, still up high looking pretty bare with the exception of the flowers in the foreground. Way in the distance you can make out the snow on the mountains through all the smoke from the forest fires.
Feel a little like a mountain goat. The slope is pretty severe but the path easy to navigate. Love the rock outcroppings and the wild flowers!
Finally, just before the trail ends, a trip around Harmony Lake with the beautiful clear water, wildflowers and the mountains in the distance!

It looks like a magical place and you’ve captured it well Mark.
Beautiful!! I would love to go there. Were they taken in August? Looks like Spring.
Thanks, Sherry, we were there right at the end of July.
