Birds, Birds, Birds Again!

Back shooting some birds again after quite some time.  It seems most everything in the last year or so was landscape.  At least it’s someplace warmer for a change!  In Florida, Tampa area, at a place called Alafia Bank, where the Alafia River dumps into Tampa Bay.  The stars of the show, as you can see above are the Roseate Spoonbills.

Sort of looks like he’s making an “O” for Ohio State.  Now all I need is to get an “H” and “I”!

But they aren’t the only ones …..

Really sweet morning light on this pelican.

Lot’s of landing shots too, which are loads of fun!

Lot’s of Vultures too, mean looking guys!

Lots more to follow over the next few days, it’s good to get back with the birds!
