These are all just big crops of some images from this summer. I was looking through these, just marveling at the detail in these little flying creatures. Every time I zoomed in on one I was startled by their makeup. Tiny little hairs everywhere, wings that look like stained glass and the eyes just amaze me. The way they cling to the plants, the wind pushing them around like weather vanes, but there they stay, holding tight. So small yet so seemingly complex.
