We made a stop one morning at Deadhorse Point, near Moab, Utah. It was a little later in the day so the light was getting a bit hard. We’d also been there for sunrise on a previous trip. So, in the case of this image, I “borrowed” an idea from my friend Rick Sammon, and used a radial zoom filter in photoshop to make the clouds look as though they’re moving in a long exposure. I also used a filter in a Nik plug-in to give it a softer look, almost like a painting. Makes for an interesting interpretation of an interesting view.
