Soft Waterfall

I’m going back over some files from a while ago.  This waterfall was taken in 2009 on our trip to Acadia National Park in Maine.  It’s fun to go back and revisit some images after awhile.  There are newer software versions now available for sure, but  sometimes you just look at things differently.  This particular waterfall is a three image HDR, finished in photoshop with the Nik software plugins.  It may not be as much about the software as becoming more comfortable and more accomplished using the software.  The exposures of the three images that make up this one range from a half second to a second and a half.  This is what gives the water that smooth almost cottony look.  Hmmm…. wonder what this would look like in black & white?
