Slow Moving Water

While playing with that new camera last week, I spent some time down in the ravines shooting the creek bed.  I love to shoot moving water, be it a waterfall or just a small creek.

The fun part for me is slowing the water way down.

Makes it look really creamy, a very ethereal look.

Using a 10 stop neutral density filter makes the camera think it’s really dark out.  That slows the shutter speed way down making for some really dreamy water.  Nice reflections too, in that last one.

Lots of fun!
