Badwater Basin

Ok, so this is one more from this morning at Zabriskie Point, and then on to Badwater Basin….. which actually was yesterday afternoon.

I thought this was way more dramatic in black and white, but you be the judge…

The color version, still pretty cool, just different.  So which do you like better?

Just before sunset, yesterday.  It all looks very harsh because it is.  This is the lowest point in the North America at 282 feet below sea level.  It’s a crusty surface of dried salt that seems to go on forever and ever.
