Just a little taste of where we are and will be going over the next week. My friend Steve and I are just starting a weeks trip through Utah and Arizona. Our first stop is Arches NP just outside Moab Utah. We arrived in the afternoon to overcast skies so conditions weren’t ideal for our first crack at sunset with very little color in the sky. We scouted around the park to get some ideas of when and where we will shoot over the next two days. We landed at Devil’s Garden, and hiked about a mile back past a couple of arches and up through a small canyon. As I said the light wasn’t the greatest, but the location sure was.
Landscape Arch, is the longest in the park and sits just to the left of the small holes in the first photo above. Forecast is for clear skies the next couple days, so it should be interesting to see what we can come up with.
